Very unpleasant receptionist. A room on top of a pub lounge (this was not mentioned). Loud music, laughing and singing until 4:00am !! Couldn't sleep at all. Tiny bathroom with poor light.Very far away from Luton airport. £15 charge for taxi instead of the 10 announced. Cet hôtel est purement et simplement une arnaque. Il ne devrait pas figurer dans ce site.
I was only there for a few hours, caught some sleep and left. Guests , staff and clients of the bar all seemed nice
very handy for luton airport
we found it very noisey as they had music playing until 12.30pm, we wanted a good nights sleep before continuing our holiday. not suitable for us.
The bed was very comfortable and the full english breakfast was excellent, well cooked and did not skimp on the quantity or quality
There were people singing on the landing at 1am, followed by someone trying to open our door at 3am. I think they got the wrong room, but it was frightening and both myself and my husband didn't sleep well which was a shame because the bed was really comfy. however overall the hotel was good except for the noise due mostly do ireland playing football and it being an irish put so there it was probably more roudy than usual.
The only thing that we found to be satisfactory was the excellent breakfast
We are a not so young couple and found that having to climb narrow steep stairs to the very tiny claustrophobic room in the attic was very difficult.. We were worried about there being no instructions on what to do should a fire break out and could see no visible means of escape in such circumstances. This is a pub with rooms and should not be described as a hotel. After complaining we were offered a drink and a free evening meal. We ordered cheese on toast and had to wait for an incredibly long time for the dining room to be prepared and the food to arrive. As I have recently had a knee operation I felt the whole experience caused me further pain and distress..
It was basic but clean and comfortable, good value accomodation
It was cheap, it's a 10 min.drive to Luton airport
Room a bit cold, do n't get a room at the front, it's noisy,
This hotel is not suitable for families with children. Ground floor is a bar. People who was drunk made a lot of noise until late. There was no lift. And the stairs were very narrow and high. The reception was not open 24 hours a day. Finally the hotel is too far from to town centre.
Very relaxed and accommodating. We arrived late but there was no fuss. Room very comfortable. Excellent breakfast.
The information both on line and in the hotel stated we could have breakfast until 10 A.M. but when we arrived it was only until 9 A.M.If times change it should state this.
nobody at recption day r night ;had diffculty using room cards to entrer room.no towels left in room.in fairness dey did get a taxi when u asked but not the fault of the hotel but every time whether it was from or to hotel from town was charged a different rate.
